Micheal Moore
Micheal Moore’s art odyssey began with his first grip of a pencil. His talent and creativity were DNA gifts from his mother, Edith, and encouraged as together they sat at the kitchen table sketching and coloring. School assignments were always accompanied by drawings of places, animals and highly-imaged costumed people of the world. His communication isn’t by word or text, but with pencils and paintbrushes, clay, wood and stone.
He graduated college with a B.A. in Art and after spending a few years starving, obtained an A.D. in Nursing, working for many years as an Operating Room Nurse, followed by a year of home health care. Spare time was spent running, biking, playing the bagpipes and gracing his friends and neighbors with his original, and funny, caricatures and cards.
Post retirement in 2010, his creative spirit has been revived, as he lives and breathes.
