Becca Briggs
Becca has been living art since childhood. Raised by a creative mother and loving parents, she has grown up in an environment supportive of the arts. Attending a small liberal arts school in Virginia Beach during high school, she thrived in drawing, painting and working with clay.
Becca later graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (Savannah, GA) in 2005. Practicing and teaching yoga feeds her creative process and she continues to work in a variety of mediums, with a special affection toward oil.
Her inspiration is a daily process of absorbing the world around her and what impacts her at different points in her journey. The surrounding beauty of the Chesapeake Bay, Knotts Island and the Eastern Shore are among her favorite environments for inspiring color and feedback for her painting subjects.
